I was nearly killed by dark complexted maniac in late-model red ford exhibition with the license plate #DL-XXXXX...dont remember the numbers, he damn near sideswipped a tractor trailor right in front of me trying to pass me and it.This incident occured at 7:53 am this morning(mar29) dont know what this means, but i saw a helicopter, mostly white with red trim and some sort of insignia fly at low altitude over the highway, perpindicular to the highway, at a high rate of speed and right above the trees..it crossed DIRECTLY above me. this incident occured yesterday at 2:48pmct....a UN flag now flys, along with the us , mexico and texas flag at the rest area on interstate 30, as it crosses in to texas...hey, is this america still, whats happening?

Hi Bob,Don't know about the license plate. Glad you are okay though. Nutty drivers seem to be everywhere these days. Best to drive a HUMMER. :-) That UN flag sounds unusual. Can you take a picture of the flags and rest stop and post it here? Thanks.

BOB B, you can go to Kinkos or some pharmacy's and have pictures scanned to disk. Most of my people, however, carry Polariod Digital 320 cameras now. They're simple to use and can take over 40 trail pictures with no problems. They cost about $50.00 and run on 9 volt batteries and they're almost indestructable. I carry two of them with me all the time now. My research team has been lucky so far and none of us have been threatened here... yet, but we travel in pairs and keep in constant radio contact just in case when we're out in the field.

I remember reading a couple of old posts from a guy named TintDude on this list. He had a military helicoptor circle his shop several times, then came back later that day and circled several times. He got scared and left this listserver. I guess he should not have put his shop name online!

there was an error in the original post, i said "a un flag now flys at the rest stop on interstate 30 as you cross into texas" the flag was actually a nato flag, the nato four-point star in the center on a blue background with a circle of white stars around it
