NOTE: I read Arthur Koestler's book, THE THIRTEENTH TRIBE, in the LATE 1970's. There are a number of books which are out of line with the established dogma which are missing from library shelves. The new monthly issue of the "Washington Report on Middle East Affairs" (which used to be displayed on the front display shelf of the Spokane County Library, along with all the other new monthy issues) has been relegated to the back shelves. I asked the new Jewish head librarian why they did this, and she said that no one was reading it, and there wasn't enough space for all the new issues of the magazines the library carried. Interestingly, none of the other new issues of the other magazines were relegated to the back shelves of the Spokane County Library.
