I don't see Mech as closeminded at all I see him as dogmatic. Right on Mech, more power to ya!I don't trust a word from anyone close to the U.N. If the feds were really about protecting us civilians and we can send troops around the globe we surely could have them on our borders. They've got their fallout bunkers but claim it's too expensive for the general population. Their only mandate is to protect our general population not their own asses. Read the new book by Joseph Farah from Worldnetdaily. I've been subscribing to his Whistleblower magazine for over a year. A true man of integrity IMO. I'm half way through it and it's amazing. http://www.worldnetdaily.com

One part truth one part rhetoric. Classic disinfo. How can you put faith in any of it if only "part" of it might be the truth? I think Sadaam needs to be wiped of the planet myself, but it could be done without putting our guys in harms way. The whole thing stinks. You know where I stand on the globalist plot so I won't clog this thread with another diatribe.I also think that China (favored nation my eye!), North Korea and Pakistan are every bit as dangerous and pressingly so. Throw France and Germany in there too for being ungrateful two faced bastards.

T/S ran accross this old article about a People magazine reporter's spiked story. It involved Bohemian Grove and since you didn't like the info at http://www.infowars.com because he was selling a video thought this would carry a bit more weight. BTW, don't all the so called legitimate news sources generate plenty of revenue? Alex at least authorizes (and encourages) his tapes to be duplicated for educational purposes, even to broadcast on cable access or wherever. He also offers the Road to Tyranny documentary full length for free online. Anyway here's the article...
November/December 1991
Inside Bohemian Grove:
The Story People Magazine Won't Let You Read

When Dirk Mathison, San Francisco bureau chief for People magazine, infiltrated the exclusive Bohemian Grove retreat this summer, he got a view into the U.S. elite that very few reporters have glimpsed. Unfortunately, that elite includes the management of Time Warner, the owner of People, which prevented Mathison from telling his story.
Bohemian Grove, a secluded campground in California's Sonoma County, is the site of an annual two-week gathering of a highly select, all-male club, whose members have included every Republican president since Calvin Coolidge. Current participants include George Bush, Henry Kissinger, James Baker and David Rockefeller -- a virtual who's who of the most powerful men in business and government. Few journalists have gotten into the Grove and been allowed to tell the tale (one exception is Philip Weiss, whose November 1989 Spy piece provides the most detailed inside account), and members maintain that the goings-on there are not newsworthy events, merely private fun. In fact, official business is conducted there: Policy speeches are regularly made by members and guests, and the club privately boasts that the Manhattan Project was conceived on its grounds. Given the veil of secrecy that surrounds the Bohemian "encampment," a reporter needs to enter the grounds covertly in order to get a full portrait. Mathison entered the grounds three times July 1991, aided by activists from the Bohemian Grove Action Network. He witnessed a speech -- "Smart Weapons" -- by former Navy Secretary John Lehman, who stated that the Pentagon estimates that 200,000 Iraqis were killed by the U.S. and its allies during the Gulf War. Other featured speakers included Defense Secretary Richard Cheney on "Major Defense Problems of the 21st Century", former Health, Education and Welfare Secretary Joseph Califano on "America's Health Revolution -- Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Pays", and former Attorney General Elliott Richardson on "Defining the New World Order". Mathison's entree into the secret world of the Grove was cut short on July 20, however, when he was recognized by two of the participants in the festivities -- executives from Time Warner, People's publisher. More loyal to the Grove than to journalistic endeavor, they had the reporter removed from the premises (San Francisco Weekly, 8/7/91). Mathison already had plenty of material, however, and turned in an article to his editors, which was scheduled to appear in the Aug. 5, 1991 issue. They were pleased with the piece, according to Mathison: "They liked it enough to expand it a bit," he told Extra!. But then the story was suddenly killed. Landon Jones, managing editor of People, told Extra! that the decision had nothing to do with the Time Warner executives. "It was cut partially because he hadn't been there long enough to get a complete story. Secondly, we felt very uncertain about reporting what we did have, because, and this is my fault and I take responsibility for this, I simply didn't realize it was technically trespassing." For his part, Mathison said he did not know why the story was killed, and implied it would be nearly impossible to find the real reason. "It's easier to penetrate the Bohemian Grove than the Time-Life Building," he told Extra!. But the story raises questions about the ability of a media entity to report critically on an elite when its executives are enthusiastic members of that elite. Indeed, the Time organization was noted for sending a corporate plane to the Bohemian gathering every year, according to long-time Grove-watcher Kerry Richardson. Time Warner is not the only media corporation with Bohemian connections. The list of Fourth Estate bigwigs who have been members or guests is extensive: Franklin Murphy, the former CEO of the Times Mirror corporation; William Randolph Hearst, Jr.; Jack Howard and Charles Scripps of the Scripps-Howard newspaper chain; Tom Johnson, president of CNN and former publisher of the Los Angeles Times. When Associated Press president Louis Boccardi spoke at one of the Grove's "Lakeside Talks" about kidnapped reporter Terry Anderson (Spy, 11/89), he referred to his audience as men of "power and rank" and "gave them more details than he said he was willing to give his readers." Walter Cronkite, now on the CBS board, hangs out at the same lodge at Bohemian Grove as George Bush and the former chairs of Procter & Gamble and Bank of America; Cronkite's voice has served as the voice of the Owl of Bohemia, a fixture in the club's mock-druidic rituals. The media figures attending the retreat all agree not to report on what goes on inside. The prohibition seems to apply to reporters who are not guests or members as well: In 1982, NPR got a recording of Henry Kissinger's speech at the Grove -- but declined to air it (Spy, 11/89). Also in 1982, a Time reporter went undercover as a waiter in Bohemian Grove; like Mathison's People article, his story was killed.

Hope you enjoyed your nap, now WAKE UP! Guess this guy is shoddy left wing too. You know if you could get past the left/right game you might realize there is a concerted effort to eliminate our sovereignty even from within our own leaders, both right and left. The only thing that keeps foreign troops that are training here in the U.S (there are multiple sources for that do your own google search) from being the U.N troops you said would be shot on sight is the silly blue hat. Cuppett served in the Army and the Pentagon for 31 years. He received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, as well as the Sec. of Defense Civilian Service Medal and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award. He spent six years of his service as a member of the Pentagon Joint Staff in what was C3SEO and J-7/EAD. http://investigativejournal.com/stories/chemtrailscuppett.htm
Why so many rumors?
Foreign military on U.S. soil and in the skies
Foreign military aircraft are flying in U.S. air space without restriction, various bio-chemical agents are being released, and foreign military are on the ground in large numbers warns a former member of the Pentagon Joint Staff. The military and the media consider Alexander B. Cuppett to be a "crack pot" and an "extremist, radical nut case," but others in the conservative Christian community believe he is telling the truth about a corrupt government. Cuppett told Investigative Journal that he has investigated persistent rumors of foreign troops on U.S. soil, and dangerous chemtrails in the skies. He says America is in grave danger. The Treaty on Open Skies (TOS) was enacted by President George Bush in 1992 and continued by President Bill Clinton. Its provisions permit foreign military aircraft to fly in U.S. air space virtually without restriction. "They are there ostensibly to insure our compliance with START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) agreements," explained Cuppett. Russian and other foreign aircraft are said to be monitoring U.S. destruction of nuclear weapons and treaty compliance. He claims the planes and helicopters are actually based at facilities in several strategic locations in the U.S. and Canada, along with thousands of foreign troops, and that they are using the treaty to enable them to be in an ideal position to attack. Cuppett sent a letter to Gen. John P. Jumper, Commander of the Air Combat Command describing his concerns. A spokesman at the office of Jumper was unaware of the letter, but said off the record that Cuppett "is well known around here, but he isn't taken seriously." Cuppett said that the U.S. maintains the TOS compliance EC-135 squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue, Neb. Offut is home to the Air Force's premiere reconnaissance and command-and-control operations. "The clandestine purpose of the TOS, rather than to certify U.S. START compliance, was to allow UN pilots to over fly the American populace without hindrance or restrictions," said Cuppett. He claims that he has personally witnessed low-level flights of Russian Hip MI-17 helicopters. There are also high altitude flights by large tankers that spray bio-chemical agents over populated areas. Cuppett said he has gathered reports of similar activities all over the U.S. for at least eight years. Many of the reports he has gathered come from other retired members of the military who have knowledge and experience to recognize what they have reported. Cuppett told the radio audience that spraying so far has consisted of various experiments. He said the time will come when enemies of the U.S. will spray more lethal bio-chemical weapons. The UN wants to take our guns. They are prepared to eliminate us one way or the other. They realize they may not get us to give up our guns, so they ready to spray," said Cuppett. He also claims that "all across the U.S. are tens of thousands of Chinese, Soviet, UN troops and police operating under the guise of the Partnership for Peace and Project Harmony enacted by Clinton." Cuppett said the troops are stationed in national parks and on closed military bases. Some are on active military bases as well, according to reports he has gathered from concerned members of the military. "The foreign troops are well armed and equipped, but our National Guard no longer has ammunition. Even active duty forces don't have ammunition. The aim is to get all our combat guys overseas for peace keeping," said Cuppett. He says the U.S. has been sold out and the threat is very ominous and real, so real that he plans to leave the country. Additional information:

Some of those Defense Dept. links are old I guess. Scroll down this page to the list of countries. http://www.ciponline.org/facts/imet.htm quote: Expanded IMET, a subset of the IMET program which funds courses dealing with civil-military relations, defense management, counternarcotics law enforcement, and military justice.
Of course I'm sure this is just for use in their own countries. Do your own search on IMET
of course you'll say since it's been going on since 1976 that makes it OK, right? Research what some of their training entails...things like "helping" out here with national emergencies. Taking over civilian city governments and disarming citizens. For our own good of course, just in case our guys happen to be elsewhere fighting a war. Hmmmmm

Taking over civilian city governments and disarming citizens. you know (and the nap was good and needed) I've been hearing *they* gonna take our guns for the last 4 years on the net...and that *they* are gonna take over government and martial law would be enforced and all that too... after the worst disaster in U.S history on U.S soil martial law never happened...we still have our guns...yes yes jeb did something in fla. regarding it but christy said nothing was unusual at the time and she lives there...sooooo.... oddly enough before 911 there was a big push to enforce "intolerable" guns laws in my opinion...and those have all but disappeared...in my state I can buy a gun from anyone...I can carry it...in my car...I just have to have the clip in my pocket...or out of the gun...which is fair...and I can load really fast...if I want it loaded and carry it I have to get a "conceal and carry permit"....which ain't no big deal either.... my point is it's not that I'm not listening...or reading I've read every link you posted...it's just I heard "wolf" so many times now that the sound just blends in with the birds and the trees.... btw send an e-mail to drudge, beck, rush about the b.grove stuff...see what transpires in staying with the topic of this thread I read a poll last night at zogby I think that said 67% of democrats don't know and knew nothing about a democratic economic plan....contrary to the opinion of a democrat "govenor" (which is funny in it's self) who gave the democratic rebuttal.... LOL

The biggest plane I've ever seen flying in the US was around Christmas 2001. It looked like it was coming in for a landing near Florence, and it was HUGE. The tail had a huge red star on the tail, which is the symbol of the Russian Air Force. Would this be related to START, or something more sinister? It was big and grey and if memory serves correctly had two large engines underneath the wings. If I knew more about military planes I could tell you more. Any ideas about what it was?
