Ahhhhhh! A fresh Perspective on all this. After reading the post Professor put up and reading some of the material that the Russian wrote, I honestly don't hope it comes to war, but if it does, it will be funny to see all the glass thats produced in Iraq.

there all over the place perspective...check california....a bunch out off the coast...30 to an hours trip...some friends of a friend bought one to use as a weekend retreat from their wives...one word perspective...~Realtor~ our troops will get it done...btw...

Speaking of EMP bombs, if you're a Coast to Coast listner, you might remember Ed Dames, known as Dr. Doom, said foresaw a nuclear weapon detonated over the Korean peninsula. That, he said, would be a precursor to the major incident that follows in which he could see nothing beyond (the implication being the destruction of humanity as we know it). The more I think about that prediction, the more I realize how eerily realistic the pre-cursur part is seeming now. If a WMD were used against us, Bush wouldn't hesitate to use a weapon like that due to the fact that we can't fight a two front war anymore thanks to Clinton's decimation of the US military. A nuke exploded in the atmosphere, by the way, is the best source of EMP energy, and could black out an entire state right there, and you can be sure they will use EMP weapons in Gulf War II to take out the enemy's communications right off the bat. I think the strategy will be executed so well in this coming war, that it should go fairly quickly, with the main focus in the first hours preventing Sadam from doing anything rash or desperate like launching a WMD attack on Israel, or setting fires to his wells, or using a biological weapon on our military or his own people. I think the first strikes will be taking these scenarios into account and dealing with eliminating those capabilities fairly quickly. Once Iraq is taken care of, then it's just a matter of management, and we will probably move all our focus onto North Korea,....or some of the other "evil axis" nations. The message will be loud and clear to terrorists by the example we make of Sadam. Don't mess with America. Liberals hate the idea of America winning because it means certain victory for Bush in the next elections....and because they simply hate the idea of America period. Political power and the thought of loosing it is more of a concern to them than the destruction of America, or national security. Thank God Bush is in charge, and Gore lost those Florida elections. America's destruction uder a Gore presidency, would've been a fair certainty.

What about The Russian Bear and The Chinese Dragon BJM? Will they stand in the way of Bush and Company's World Conquest? Oh, and not to mention MORE THAN HALF of the American public, how does Bushco conquer them/us? Arrest dissenters? You'd love that. Nobody to question this insanity. The financial consequences of The New Hannibal's Oil War will be destructive, as Arabs, Asians, and Euros pull out of the US market. Look at every War the US has had, Bull market before...Bull after; Bear before....Bear after. Gulf War 2 would be no different, except the US is now the aggressor.
According to Washington Post writer Jim VandeHei, "U.S. lawmakers, angry over France's and Germany's opposition to the administration's Iraq policies, are considering retaliatory gestures such as trade sanctions against the French and pressing for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Germany."
Germany is also on the receiving end of "punitive measures."

You know that the Israel/Palestinean conflict is being perpetrated by both sides. why don't you list the civil liberties lost specifically mech and we will discuss themmm...whoopse I've asked you before to put this into your own words...and you choked...can I call you "limp richard" mech ?...today I was listening to the local AM swap-shop...and a guy had a 9mm berreta a 243cal youth rifle and a synthetic stock (no extra charge) to make it a adult rifle all for sale or trade....yep those rights are disappearing allright...now~a~days we have to give away synthetic gun stocks just to sell our weapons ! that's tyranny !!!!
