Hey Prof, I went to the search with all the links but I'm not sure what your getting at. Could you be more specific? Russia is still a threat. Yeah, I don't discount them even today.

The links to Staniv Lunev are very interesting for they show a pattern and consistency to ever deceive the U.S. I've done alot of research on this subject on how they keep their enemies even closer.

I hope you're right on this one Professor (although you haven't managed to get us off this Island yet..and Gilligan keeps messing up your plans). I think Lunev was the one saying that Russia had all those suitcase nukes positioned in US cities and ready to go off. I'd hate to think that was true.

On the other hand, Lunev does make an incredible amount of sense, which is at the same time, extremely scarey, disturbing and ominous. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2002/3/10/111302.shtml quote: Lunev then gave advice that has now been heeded by the Bush administration: "My suggestion is that the U.S. must warn rogue states, i.e., Iraq, Iran, Syria and Libya, that if these groups use a weapon of mass destruction on an American city, the U.S. military will not do any investigations, there will be no delay – the U.S. will use similar weapons on their population centers and military targets."
Ahhh, the Bush doctrine. The only possible deterrent, Mutual Assured Destruction. Hard to do against terrorists, but by retaliating against the nations which harbor, supply and train terrorists it can still be an effective deterrent.

Billy you better take what he say's seriously. Jeff Nyquest did a massive research along these very lines and COMPLETELY backs up what Lunev say's, in fact he has documented Russia's leaders saying the same since 1951 and earlier. He use to write for Newsmax more often, ? his book is also pretty heavy!

Nice site Professor, lots of good reading. I've added that to my research folder, thanks.

I do take what he says seriously, Prof...Didn't mean to imply that I didn't (maybe it was the Gilligan joke)..NewsMax is a highly credible source btw, but we can't spend all our time worrying about what we have no control over. Sometimes it helps to have a little humor in today's world.
