Un-Constitutional Homeland Security and Patriot Acts being passed? Did you even read the Constitution and/or Patriot Act and Homeland Security Bill? That's why Constitionalists of the Left and Right are so pissed off and troubled.

Yup, that is why I'm pissed off, but I still support our troops. Oh yeah, and I'm pissed off at the spying hover drones too, see http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum19/HTML/000045-2.html.

Again, I don't get it

Attacking Mech again, Seeker?

Blame it on the Devil, when you can't logically think it out. That's where the term "scape-goat" came from. You know goats are witches animals right, Seeker. And dancing, calico cats are evil according to your boy Ashcroft.

Does Hillary have a dancing calico cat, a goat, and smokes herbs?

Time to put some more square waves into that linear, concrete head of your's there, Seeker, as you are now imaging yourself to be an expert on the arts. You imagine, I make a living. You are truly pitiful.

I guess no ones ever heard the phrase of spoils of war. We earned that oil if you ask me, I doubt that we're there solely to steal their oil. We also need a bigger U.S. presence in the mid east to keep the muslims down, yes I said down.
I can't wait to hear the excuses that will come from the antiwar movement when the Iraqi people finally see us put sodom to death. If it goes that way is something we all will soon get to see.

Well as long as the U.S. is the ruler of the world I'll go along. I don't have to worry about our guys like you would if you lived in China or IRAN. Until they bring in the cashless society which isn't too far of in the future. But for now yes I'm for total world domination if it's the U.S. doing it. Whats wrong with that? were not perfect but who is?

On the contrary they've been had, I can play games with the best of them what they will reap what they sow! Theres a million of double cross going on but to me I'm prepared for it in ways you possibly wouldn't think of, so in the meantime I'm enjoying my freedoms I have now and exercising mt rights to do so but when that time comes where I have to literally defend my freedoms watch out. So in the meantime don't always look at the doom and gloom and get out to enjoy life while you can, it's not to be wasted. life that is

The Nerve Gas Sarin

C4H10FO2P
Methylphosphofluoridic acid, 1-methylethyl ester, or Isopropylmethanefluorophosphonate
Nerve agents such as Sarin have been the chemical weapons of choice since World War II.

Sarin was first produced by German scientists in 1938 ; although it was not used during the war, many have speculated that it could have given the Germans a decisive advantage.

Sarin is a colourless, odourless gas with a lethal dose of just 0.5mg for an adult human (or 0.01mg/kg of body weight). It is a member of the organophosphate family which were previously used as pesticides before their effects were fully known. Sarin possess the typical organophosphate characteristics of stability, high toxicity, and is an easily dispersed agent that acts extremely quickly when absorbed through the skin or inhaled. Although recently superseded by more deadly and more persistent compounds (Sarin is classified as non persistent) such as VX Gas, Sarin remains a highly dangerous and effective part of mankind's destructive arsenal.

Like other nerve agents, Sarin functions by competitive inhibition of the enzyme acetyl cholinesterase. This enzyme is found at synapses and nerve endings where it breaks hydrolyses the neurotransmitter Acetyl choline so that the nerve impulse is only transmitted once as required. When the enzyme is inhibited acetyl choline accumulates at nerve endings. This has various unpleasant effects leading to paralysis (where accumulation occurs at motor neurones) and eventually death by means such as asphyxiation. Physical Properties

Molecular Weight 146.10
Density (g/cm3 at 25°C) 1.09
Melting Point (°C) -57.0
Boiling Point (°C) 147.0
Vapour Density 4.86
Vapour Pressure (mmHg at 25°C) 2.9
Volatility (mg.m3) 4100 (0°C)
22000 (25°C)
29800 (30°C)

Traditional Synthesis

The five general steps are shown here. Actual reaction reagents, ratio and condition details are missing.

This final stage usually takes place while the missile or other delivery vessel is in flight because it is safer to store the reagents which are far less dangerous than Sarin itself.

The hydrolysis reaction is rapid and used for the decontamination of affected areas:

Current decontamination systems:

- Solids, powders and solutions containing various types of bleach ( NaOCl- or Ca(OCl-)2 )
- DS2 ( 2% NaOH, 70% diethylenetriamine, 28% ethylene glycol monomethyl ether )
- Towlettes moistened with NaOH dissolved in water, phenol, ethanol and ammonia

VX Gas

by Joe Lenthall, Magdalen College School, Oxford.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VX gas is one of the most dangerous chemicals created. It is used in chemical warfare. In the film "The Rock", it was that green liquid that the terrorists threatened San Francisco Bay with.

VX gas was developed in the Porton Down Chemical Weapons Research Centre, Wiltshire, England in 1952 and its devastating effects were tested. The British traded the technology of VX with the United States of America for information on thermonuclear weapons.

Its chemical formula is CH3CH20-P(O)(CH3)-SCH2CH2N(C3H7)2 (Click here to view 3D structure) and is normally in its liquid state despite its name. It has a low volatility; is odourless and is an excellent adhesive. A special form has been developed that is so adhesive that it is virtually impossible to remove from the surface that it is in contact with. This leads to strategic attacks on enemy bases or airfields so that the VX remains stuck to the area and has the potential to kill any one attempting to use the base or airfield.

The "V" of VX signifies it long persistence. So it is more dangerous and toxic than its cousins of the "G" variety like GA (Tabun) and GB (Sarin), which dissipate quickly and have only short-term effects. In the liquid form of VX, it is absorbed through the eyes or the skin of the victim. It takes an hour or two to take effect and its effects result in death. The gaseous form is more deadly than the liquid form and acts almost immediately on the victim. The effects are worst when it is inhaled and death is an end to the suffering.

The LD50 can be as little as 10mg for humans. It operates by cutting off the nervous system. It binds to the enzyme that transmits signals to the nerves and inhibits them. Therefore the nerves become isolated and uncontrollable. The antidote, atropine, is a toxin itself but it counteracts the effect of the VX by removing it from the enzyme. It is an anti-nerve agent so does the reverse of the VX, a nerve agent. It is normally injected into the arm or thigh but for gaseous attacks the atropine must go immediately into the heart. So full body protection and gas masks are essential to avoid exposure in a VX missile attack.

VX has not been used to its fullest potential yet because it is too dangerous to use for local attacks with wind that could blow the VX back onto the base. This factor has helped to keep VX from being used to cripple local nations. If these weapons were launched against a nation then there would be the possibility of a nuclear counterattack because VX is a weapon of mass destruction that spreads from impact point killing all in its path. This would be countered by another, which in a lot of cases, would be a nuclear bomb. The only known countries to possess VX are U.S. France and Russia. England after inventing it abandoned the thought for thermonuclear warfare.

The idiot has it, the idiot has used it on his own people.

Any questions?

32 good reasons to bomb saddam, hometown roaches !

this stinks !

The non-binding House resolution passed easily - 392 in favor, 11against -- and the Senate passed a similar resolution with a resounding 99-0 vote. Just who are the 11 congressmen who voted against the resolution? They are: John Conyers (D-MI); Mike Honda (D-CA); Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH); Barbara Lee (D-CA); Jim McDermott (D-WA); Bobby Scott (D-VA); Pete Stark (D-CA); Edolphus Towns (D-NY); Diane Watson (D-CA); Maxine Waters (D-CA); and Charles Rangel (D-NY). What do they have in common? To the shock of no one, they're all members of the Democratic Party; not one Republican voted against the resolution. In addition, most are members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

The eleven votes against HR 104 and the twenty-one "present" votes reveal the virulent strain of the Democratic Party that has proven to be viciously partisan and in many cases, anti-American. Their deep disdain for President Bush precludes them from offering purely symbolic support for U.S. troops risking their lives on our behalf in Iraq. Hopefully, by exposing them to the light of day, the American people will understand what these congressmen truly represent, and remember the vote on HR 104 in 2004.

Troops, journalists undergo cleanup for nerve gas exposure
By TOM LASSETER
Knight Ridder Newspapers

ALBU MUHAWISH, Iraq - U.S. soldiers evacuated an Iraqi military compound on Sunday after tests by a mobile laboratory confirmed evidence of sarin nerve gas. More than a dozen soldiers of the Army's 101st Airborne Division had been sent earlier for chemical weapons decontamination after they exhibited symptoms of possible exposure to nerve agents.

The evacuation of dozens of soldiers Sunday night followed a day of tests for the nerve agent that came back positive, then negative. Additional tests Sunday night by an Army Fox mobile nuclear, biological and chemical detection laboratory confirmed the existence of sarin.

Sgt. Todd Ruggles, a biochemical expert attached to the 2nd Brigade of the 101st Airborne said, "I was right" that chemical agents Iraq has denied having were present.

In addition to the soldiers sent for decontamination, a Knight Ridder reporter, a CNN cameraman and two Iraqi prisoners of war also were hosed down with water and bleach.

U.S. soldiers found the suspect chemicals at two sites: an agricultural warehouse containing 55-gallon chemical drums and a military compound, which soldiers had begun searching on Saturday. The soldiers also found hundreds of gas masks and chemical suits at the military complex, along with large numbers of mortar and artillery rounds.

Chemical tests for nerve agents in the warehouse came back positive for so-called G-Series nerve agents, which include sarin and tabun, both of which Iraq has been known to possess. More than a dozen infantry soldiers who guarded the military compound Saturday night came down with symptoms consistent with exposure to very low levels of nerve agent, including vomiting, dizziness and skin blotches.

A hand-held scanning device also indicated the soldiers had been exposed to a nerve agent. Two tests at the compound were negative, but further testing indicated sarin was present.

Sarin can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin and is considered one of the most feared but also the most volatile of the nerve agents, chemical weapons experts have said. A cloud of sarin can dissipate after several minutes or hours depending on wind and temperature.

The soldiers, journalists and prisoners of war who tested positive were isolated as everyone else evacuated the area. After about 45 minutes, the group was walked, single-file, down a road for about a city block to where two water trucks awaited them. The men stepped between the two trucks and were hosed down as they lathered themselves with a detergent containing bleach.

1st Lt. Elena Aravjo of the 63rd Chemical Company said she thought there might well be chemical weapons at the site. "We do think there's stuff in this compound and the other (agricultural warehouse) compound, but we think it's buried," she said. "I'm really suspicious of both of those compounds."

The suspicions, or at the very least concerns, were widespread. The 2nd Brigade's commander, Col. Joseph Anderson, toured the site on Sunday, as did Brig. Gen. Benjamin C. Freakley, the assistant commander of the 101st Airborne for operations. Shortly after, the division commander, Maj. Gen. David H. Petraeus, also visited the site.

The ranking officers made no official comment about suspected nerve agents. Troops not wearing chemical protection suits later reoccupied the military complex, while sections of the agricultural warehouse remained taped off.
