If , on the other hand, the American public wakesup to what 80% of the planet realizes, and dumps him in 2004, maybe this once great country can be saved, and we'll be here, as the guardians of conscience that we always are.

My pugnacious mind is the norm if the polls are correct. Over 70% of the American people agree with me that Bush is doing an excellent job and Saddam needs to be removed, and Iraq disarmed. It would be a horror to live here, if your side had it’s way (which it did for eight years during the Clinton fiasco). Terrorism as a result is the price we pay as a direct result of electing someone like Clinton. Bush is doing something about it.

I think not. As far as the blowing up of frogs...as kids we do a lot of really stupid things, perhaps out out of curiosity, a dare, boredom or just because we can? I remember as a toddler throwing toads up in the air, and in fascination watch their heart stops when landing with a thud, then pumping their chests and watching their hearts start again. I didn't think it cruel, I was just curious about the boundaries of life and death, and I think I turned out OK as an adult. Of course I am sorry now for any undue pain I have caused another creature, hindsight and all...I'm not a violent person, nor a serial killer, but now have a profound respect for life and all living creatures.

There are certain children who do in fact, delight in the torture of helpless creatures, these people are truly sick and grow up to be even sicker adults. Is Bush one of these people, that is not for me to say, I wasn't inside his head when he was blowing up the frogs, and I'm not inside his head now...so in that regard I disagree with Gas Man's assumption that Bush is a sick man cause he blew up frogs as a kid.
