WMM,Please read this locked thread http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/001727-2.html I thought you were throwing out your computer? One last "spit", in your own words. I truly pity you, lady. Is it PMS, Post-Menopause, or Identity Crisis? I'm serious, yes, I don't just goof around. If it is something physical, then seek Natropathic medicine Just let it go. You want peace, accept the fact that some people will not like you, no matter how nice a person you may be. I have accepted that, and it doesn't bother me what some people may think of me. What bothers me is when people email me with threats upon my life and livlihood, like some of the creeps at Maverick's. It's only words. Maybe we all will look back at the absurdity of this situation some day.

for one you are not a very good detective......and for 2......i am definitely male.........and again you have posted something contrary to the truth.....you are in violation of forum rules .......when is your warning......or are you to....not accountable.....?the hypocrisy is growing it seems......hypocritical fanatics.......who are drunk with their own power of who goes and who stays.....by the way to make that little warning legal....i should have gotten an e-mail......with an explanation.....and some proof of my transgressions.....oh and if you look at whom the warning is for......"whitemajickman"........you can clearly see that i am whitemajikman.........so hence i have not yet been warned......and why are you locking all the threads .....do you have something to hide......again more damage control on your part........and by the way......using maverick and the people that post their as a scapegoats in your reluctance to debate any issue that you dont have a clear handle on......is hypocritical and dangerous at best......for it seems that you value not the truth.....but your own fanatical....little agenda of conquest.......oh and by the way......their are laws that govern freedom of speech and you have broken those laws.........the transcripts speak for themselves..........so does the warning, and the belligerent way that council members let you and your hemmroid friend mech.....break all the rules and have no reprocussions placed upon you by the council..........maybe its time you took a look at common law.....and how open to litigation you really are.........for my lawyers agree that their is something quite interesting happening on this board.....and by the way this not a threat.......but its my warning to you and to the council.....and to the owner or owners of this website..........freedom of speech shall prevail one way or the other.....and you swampass when its all said and done.....will be exposed along with rest of the anti-freedom squad here for what you all are.......hypocritical,insignificant,hate-mongering,single-event fanatics....that you are......so keep pushing me with your little diatribe......in the end it is going to cost you all dearly.....in more ways than one.......by the way swampass if you do have legal representation now would be the time......to call him.......for if this hypocrisy keeps up.....you wont be doing anything but trying to make ends meet.....litigation is quite expensive..........and you are out of your financial league in this regard.......you see thats a fact.......

WMM,By now Thermit has already banned you, and I feel like I'm talking to a corpse. I am not a mod at Chemtral Central, so what the hell are you talking about. I read your little threat email to Mech, and you should hope he doesn't publish it. Talk about litigation..Whew! If I was, this place would not be in the shape it is today. I think Mech will clean things up

Be glad to Prof
As JBE said, It's the Dead Seas Scrolls. What attracted me to it was the followers thought Jesus was a vegetarian. Being one myself, I studied a little further, and it seemed that The Bible was more or less a politicized version of The Essenes, kind of what The Patriot Act is to The Constitution. So being the synthesis typre person I am, incorporated The Essene idea of Jesus into my Pagan, Buddhist, Hindu, and Unified Field Theory beliefs. That is why I sometimes refer to True Christians and Phoney Christians. I never was meant anything personal toward you. I have saying this since the late 60's. So no hard feelings, and I'd like to start a new between the people of differing philosophies, not to "debate" so much, but share. http://www.ivu.org/news/1-96/essenes.html Have a Happy Holiday!

That sounds good to me also, hope there are no hard feelings from anybody. It does get pretty warmed up at times and we all say things stronger than we should when usually it's better to keep the mouth shut. It's an interesting concept and reading your posts I had you figured to be younger not saying that your an old fogie but you seem to be up on alot of interesting hobbies, and your band isn't that bad at all (it's not really my kind of stuff but hey) frankly you've experienced a lot a different cultures into what you do, kinda reminds of Lene Lovich/ Devo from the early eighties. Being a musician songwriter (not christain contempory BTW) I had the perfect chemistry with some good friends had a band that was going places and wrote some amazing music with so much feel and dynamics, did alot of offtime part jazz, downtuning and polyrythmic arrangments (that was my specilties riffs and arrangements). I also had a female singer who had so much potential but that was about ten years ago and am kicking myself in the head ever since (I threw the wrench in). We were on our second CD and starting to go places and ultimately I had to choose which was more important in my life with the commitments I had made, it's still difficult to think about knowing that we would've broken out big time. I'm the type that doesn't try at anything I just do it. Well anyways we can to disagree at times and just keep it at that I guess age makes you set it your ways.

Thank you Prof,I definitely take the DEVO/Lene Lovich comparison as a compliment. Thetaloops and I interviewed DEVO back in the 80's for Keyboard World. We had a blast with them, and they invited us to a private party in New York, and we wound up dancing on stage with them, us dressed as aliens. Loved the 80's music, The Fixx, Animal Nightlife, Talk Talk, Nina Hagen, Kraftwerk, B52s, Elvis Costello, etc. I too, like bizarre tunings. On our newest CD, I incorporated 1/4 and 1/5 tone scalings with a AudioUnits plugin called FM7, which is essentially a DX7 in software, on steroids (or Ginseng if you will). 24 tones to the octave, or 25, or whatever amount. Thetaloops has been experimenting with Byzantine and Hindu scaling. BTW, her unusual singing on "Johnny Spray" was on purpose, to evoke on "cowboy" feel. It's strange Prof. Yes, we all get carried away with emotions once in a while, but hey, we're human, and that goes with the territory. I invited WMM to MOD, thinking that he/she was a compadre, and she/he turns into an enemy. I thought you were the enemy, and it looks like we are becoming friendly. Well, as the Firesign Theater said, "Everything you know is wrong". Anyway, now that I know you are a musician, we can have some interesting conversations, I'm sure. Again, Have a nice Holiday!

"I actually want to see everybody at least being polite to each other"Well the way politics (are) that condition will never exist Sunday on c-span the britsh "house of commons" broadcast will verify this, and is very entertaining and informative universal peace and goodwill only exists when all people practice it individual peace and goodwill is a choice

I agree Dionysus. That's why i can get along with Conservatives and Liberals that are not too extreme. The Radicals of the Left and Right are the problems, that keep people at each others throats. Maybe that's the Plan. Could you imagine if we all found a common ground to be pissed off at? That would be a step in the right direction.

Affirmative Prof,It's up to us from opposite sides of the same coin to set an example. Tough job, but somebody has to do it.
Speaking of weird scaling and abstract tuning, did you ever hear of the classical composer Olivier Messiaen? We saw his "Turangalia" in Carnegie Hall a little while ago, and it hilarious watching people that were not used to such bizarre and uneven tones literally run out of the theater. He was a bird lover (he started the Cornell Library of bird sounds back in the 50's), and would use the Thermin and Ondoline to mimic bird calls. Lovely, Soul-Lifting music and theater, AND he was a devout Christian. http://w3.rz-berlin.mpg.de/cmp/messiaen.html

That is awesome hopefully what he has accomplished will never be lost. Makes me wonder how the flamenco style will be thought of in another 50 years with the ever changing musical direction these days, I think it's vital not to lose the roots. Ever hear of Paco De Luca or Al Dimeola? the most impressive classical guitar I have yet to hear.

Did you hear Messiaen's music? I'll give you a link tomorrow if you didn'tI am very familiar with Paco and Al Dimeola. I saw Di Meola open for the English Progressive band UK, in Sacramento in 1978. Wow! There were so many notes, I was blinded. My friend played in a band with him for awhile here in NJ, Tony Defalco was his name, who also was on the George Crumb recording of makrocosmos 3. Al was from Garfield I beieve, about 2 miles from where I grew up. He is a contemporary of mine. One of my favorite Doors songs was "Spanish Caravan". When I was in "Strange Daze" in LA back in 1980, that was my 2nd favorite song to play live. Two shippets of Messiaen's music from "Turangalia". It is very weird, so be prepared. http://www.noble-gas.com/intro.mp3 http://www.noble-gas.com/turan3.mp3 His "Ascention" symphoney is very spiritual also.

Wasn't able to link music on the classical page, the two links you supplied are very abstract for orchestra music it's all over the place but yet goes together perfectly in a chaotic symphony. I like it!

Messiaen wrote some very beautiful spiritual music. such as "Chronochromie", or "Symphony for the End of Time".Bernard Hermann (North by Northwest, Vertigo, Day the Earth Stood Still, 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Citizen Kane) and him were good friends, and you can hear Messian's influence in Hermann's works, who in turn was Jerry Goldsmith's and Danny Elfman's main influence. Messian was a student of Debussey, and continued the Avant Garde of classical, with others such as Stravinsky, Scriabin, Boulez, Schoenberg, Bartok, and Khodaly.
