What is it? Why does my firewall keep telling me it's trying to access the internet? Or do I want to allow it to?

Are you already on the net when it tells you this? If you are don't permit your firewall to do so, could possibly be a trojan horse.

Yeah it only occurs while online, I tell my firewall to prohibit it's access though. I found the file in my registry where it wasn't supposed to be according to a few sites some people have referenced for me. Hopefully it won't return. It can be placed on your computer in various places under different names. If I haven't found the main one, it can reappear after a restart. it allows the perpetrator to use your computer as a server I guess. Thanks for responding Profesor!!!! If you have any other suggestions I'm open. I spent hours looking for the damn thing. Still not sure if it's gone though.

Theres a program I use I tried to link it but was unable to. It's called spybot, you might have heard of it. Use a search engine to find their site, it's a free download and basically it scrubs your computer of spyware thats in your system. You may have a tight system but you'll be amazed at what this software finds.

Yeah, I use that as well as Spyblaster!! I highly recommend them to anyone that regularly surfs the net. Spyblaster works a little differently in that it prevents the files from initially getting on your computer from the start. Where Spybot seems to remove them afterwards. They both seem to locate and immunize different problems. They have gotten me out of alot of BS!!! It becomes a perpetual cat and mouse game. With every hack comes a solution, then another new hack in return. You must constantly update your programs to stay current. Unfortunately, some unlucky soul has to become the first victim before the newer hacks are to be discovered and then countered.
