Facts Be Damned: CAPPS II Going ForwardInternal Border Controls Going Up At Selected Airports Next MonthThe Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will begin testing the CAPPS II internal border control system at selected airports next month, according to sources and news reports.

As no airline will voluntarily cooperate with the TSA for fear of being boycotted a-la Delta, the TSA will resort to issuing a (possibly un-Constitutional) security directive that will force all airlines and airline reservation systems to turn-over the private data of the American flying public.

The TSA will then determine which Americans the Agency deems worthy of flying and which US citizens will be barred from air travel. TSA's own estimates state upwards of 6 million Americans will no longer be allowed to fly under the CAPPS II system.

Proud to be evil, the Department of Homeland Security is ramming CAPPS II down the throats of the American public; and facts be damned.

. Never mind that CAPPS II will make flying more dangerous and America less free.
. Never mind that internal border controls of the CAPPS II variety violate the US Constitution.
. Never mind that we are American citizens with rights and freedoms, and not potential terrorists.

Despite their obsession with color codes, the only hue Homeland Security really understands is purple, as in Kool-Aid; and the unpatriotic loons down at Homeland Security have been drinking a lot of it.

Want to hear an inside story about the kool-aid beverage of the NATO conference here in town?

Well, a galfriend I know talked with one of the caterers at the Broodmoor Hotel here, who
catered and filled glasses and such and she said the whole lot of them drank like fish!
They were drinking during the meetings and after and so it is. Many government and military circles, from what I've heard from sons and daughters of upper level military colonels and generals say that alcohol is part of the culture! Rumsfeld certainly had his share, as was personally confirmed by this woman's witness!

And Capps II is just another stupid attempt to curtail our freedoms and now not only will businessmen and women wake up, but the airlines, will too, although they're receiving a continued pay off! Where's the pay off for us citizens? Nada! Zilch! Nothing and so the neocon manics of fear will go down! Another nail in their political coffin!

Can't wait for some juicy lawsuits!

For what reasons would these American's no longer be able to fly? They must have predetermined guidelines in order to make a statement like that? Does anyone know what these guidelines are?
