I've recently been doing further research on WW 2 and cold war studies because I wonder how mankind can look in the face of the atrocities that we commit. The holocaust disturbs me greatly because of the lack of compassion of the elitist movement at the time. If you go to the home page of the link that I'm going to provide I think the pictures alone will really get you thinking. If my link does not work let me know I'll repost another to get you to the site I'm referring to. This speech that I discovered is about the cold war and has inside refences of Stallin. http://history1900s.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://home.mira.net/%7Eandy/bs/1956nk.htm

Professor, if ever I was given the opportunity to appear on the show 'Millionaire', I'd want you as the 'phone a friend' for history questions. You seem to have an affinity for it.

Thanks, but I'm not all that. I know alot but as the saying goes you never know everything. The dark side of humanity has always intrigued me. The thought process of some really blows me away of what some will do to aquire and maintain power, and my question is for what? it all comes to an end eventually. You should read how many Russian commanders under Stallin were murdered and the propaganda that was used and how the they would airbrush somebody they didn't like from their history. A good example would be of what they did to Trotsky before his death. This link will show you just how they did this with before and after images. Once you check out this link you'll see how the levels differ greatly compared to Russia's way and the way it goes on in America. http://www.newseum.org/berlinwall/commissar_vanishes/deception.htm
