Where they got the idea: http://www.online-literature.com/orwell/1984

Orwellian Newspeak superseeded by Falwellian Newtspeak:
(nightmare fictional vision overtaken by satanic nightmare reality)
Newt released a list of insults to be used against democrats and :"how to speak like Newt" guidlines for those whose souls have already been sold to satan: http://web.utk.edu/~glenn/GopacMemo.html
>Language: A Key Mechanism of Control

As you know, one of the key points in the GOPAC tapes is that "language matters." In the video "We are a Majority," Language is listed as a key mechanism of control used by a majority party, along with Agenda, Rules, Attitude and Learning. As the tapes have been used in training sessions across the country and mailed to candidates we have heard a plaintive plea: "I wish I could speak like Newt."

That takes years of practice. But, we believe that you could have a significant impact on your campaign and the way you communicate if we help a little. That is why we have created this list of words and phrases.

This list is prepared so that you might have a directory of words to use in writing literature and mail, in preparing speeches, and in producing electronic media. The words and phrases are powerful. Read them. Memorize as many as possible. And remember that like any tool, these words will not help if they are not used.

While the list could be the size of the latest "College Edition" dictionary, we have attempted to keep it small enough to be readily useful yet large enough to be broadly functional. The list is divided into two sections: Optimistic Positive Governing words and phrases to help describe your vision for the future of your community (your message) and Contrasting words to help you clearly define the policies and record of your opponent and the Democratic party.

Please let us know if you have any other suggestions or additions. We would also like to know how you use the list. Call us at GOPAC or write with your suggestions and comments. We may include them in the next tape mailing so that others can benefit from your knowledge and experience.

Optimistic Positive Governing Words

Use the list below to help define your campaign and your vision of public service. These words can help give extra power to your message. In addition, these words help develop the positive side of the contrast you should create with your opponent, giving your community something to vote for!

CLINTON (D) signed NAFTA/GATT

Shatoga...

For the life of me I can't understand WHY you ONLY SEE EVIL coming from Republicans.

Isnt that being a bit Hypocritical?

The Democrats do some pretty horrible things too.

There is a FEW good Repubs left.

As is a FEW Democrats.

I give you Ron Paul(R) and Dennis Kucinich(D)

Just as there are GOOD and BAD people in both our Military, Police, and Intel agencies.

In fact....I sincerly believe there is a big-time internal battle going on within those very agencies.

The NEO-CON agenda is NOT a Republican agenda..it is a machavellian, TROTSKYITE agenda (Ends justify the means).

There are PLENTY of Democrats that are going along with this agenda.

Just about everyone I know will be on this list.

The Unix/Macintosh Security is interesting. The fact that it is many times more difficult from Homeland Security to break into Macs than windows could be the reason.

Illuminati brings the feds sneaking. No wonder they are always looking at these sites.

69? I'm from the class of '69. Yes, the 60's. No need to say any more, other than the sexual connotations. You all knew Ken Starr's infatuation with Clinton's penis.

Dictionary? I thought they were looking for almanacs. Now dictionaries are being used as weapons. Well. the pen IS mightier than the sword.

Infowar? I t seems like Alex Jones has made their Top 300 list.

2600 Magazine-Ah, my old pal Emanual Goldstein is also in the Top 300.

Porno? That must keep them busy!

beef, veggie, frogslegs, sardine ? WTF do we pay these idiots salaries for?

Elvis? maybe since Elvis was working for Nixon.......AND seen piloting a UFO with Anton Levey as co-pilot?

Bob? The Church of The SubGenius is on their watch list? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

This is the sure sign we are living in a Paranoid Society. Why not just upload the entire Unabridged dictionary, and create tons of new jobs. This way, instead of cooking hamburgers, the uneducated can monitor words, and make sure everyone is staying within Fundamentaist Decency.

LOL! Too funny Swamp!

Guess this means that just about every post in Other Trails is under surveillance. woo hoo! I’ll tell you, all those acronyms make me WANT to do a search just to see what the heck they are.

I noticed ELF, Illuminati, and GATT are on the list. But a few I figured WOULD have been on the list weren’t.

Did the Method of Destruction members notice that MOD is on there – ha!

A couple of years ago,
tens of thousands worldwide all sent masses of e-mails, personal messages, instant messages, and made phone calls.

Why?
We were using words on the list which auto-start Echelon's computers recording and monitering.
Knowing these words also signal for humint to review all messages to and from each person using words on the watch list.

A "no such agency" spokesperson announced that they had reserve capacity,
and we were welcome to try again.

since then, carnivore and magic lantern computer moniter all electronic traffic.

Big brother is watching...listening...and making a list.

aside;
Mech,
I know both sides have both good and bad.
However i am just one person criticizing the rightwing, whereas the US and British media are 24/7/365 criticizing centrists and Liberals.
I'm no threat to their well-financed and quite successful efforts to control attitudes and opinions.

As Newt's list shows,
control is the purpose;

One party rule is the reality.

Can anyone remember other "one-party-rule" nations of recent history?

They all supressed free speech and had lists of words whose use put ordinary citizens on watch lists.

I repeat (in different words)
If anyone wants to really understand the Bush Administration;
They MUST READ Orwell's "1984"

And recognize "the party" has moved way beyond Newt.
As the RNC's 'Democratic Leadership Council' illustrates.
"the party" believes:
"The best way to handle the opposition is to control it ourselves." VI Lenin
