Very interesting read.....
I'll have to go back and read some more when I have time.
Thought this was interesting on the main page:
Recapturing America employs fictional conversational techniques with political and public figures to raise and address public issues and concerns. Those issues include but are not limited to electing public officials a) who will serve without conflict of interest; b) warranting the public trust; and c) who will investigate whether government is carrying out covert agendas not in accord with the best interests of the Nation. Recapturing America defines the best interests of the Nation as assuring a government which tells the American people the truth, rather than a government which keeps hidden agendas, or a government which otherwise lies to and deceives the public, including doing so, under a guise and facade of national interests and/or national security. A government in true service of its citizens acts to assure the American public true choice in the election process, by opposing any actions by anyone, including outside special interest groups, to limit true, free choice and/or candidates out of step with existing governmental policies or agendas. A government serving the best interests of the Nation is further defined as one which warrants that it will not impinge upon the responsibilities of the public media to expose or speak against government policies and agendas, nor one which covertly exercises, by actions otherwise seemingly legal, any indirect or direct influence or control over the media, including any actions discouraging, in any means or fashion, aggressive investigation, discussion and criticism of government policies and agendas. In this manner, Recapturing America, while a novel and work of fiction, aims to serve the public interest and good. All conversations and events should be deemed completely fictional, at minimum, and, at best, matters of artistic expression and opinion.
